This notice concerns the Linger website, not the contents of your local Linger library.

Basic page counts

Basic page counts are collected separately to improve this website. Our shared counting endpoint, hosted with Render, immediately adds each allowed public page and coarse referral category to a daily total. It stores no visitor or session ID, raw URL, IP address, or individual visit record in the counting database. Totals are retained for 90 days. Basic counts do not use analytics cookies or device fingerprints and cannot identify repeat visitors. You can stop them in Privacy settings; browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control also stop these counts. Hosting providers still process technical requests and logs to operate the service.

Your choice

Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity are off until you choose Allow analytics. Google Analytics receives page views and session data to help us understand visits and engagement. For Google Analytics, we remove URL query strings and fragments and send only the origin of referring websites. Automatic form, download and outbound-link measurement is disabled; advertising storage, Google signals and ad personalization are disabled. See Google’s Privacy Policy. If you agree, Microsoft Clarity receives website interaction data, including page visits, clicks and scrolling, and provides masked session replay. It uses cookies to connect visits. Advertising storage consent is denied. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

We remember your choice for up to 180 days. You can change it using Privacy settings. Declining does not prevent using the site or accessing order information. Withdrawing clears this site's Google Analytics and Clarity cookies and reloads the page to stop both trackers; it does not automatically delete data already sent to Google or Microsoft. Previous Clarity-only permission requires a new choice before either tracker starts; an existing refusal remains valid.

Pre-orders and payment

Stripe hosts checkout and processes your payment details. We receive your email, order number and payment status through signed payment notifications to our website service hosted by Vercel. Stripe stores the order and our confirmation status. We use Resend to send transaction emails, including your order confirmation and later delivery instructions. Your email, order number and purchase details are included in these emails. We do not receive your full card number, add buyers to marketing subscriptions automatically, or send purchase details as analytics events. Purchase records are retained to provide your license, support, refunds and required financial records. Contact support@bhalgo.com for privacy requests.

Existing waitlist and hosting

If you join the waitlist, your email is sent to our server and Resend to maintain the list and send occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe through those emails. We do not send your email or form contents as analytics events. Hosting services process requests and technical logs needed to operate and protect the site.

Your library

The website analytics script has no access to your local Linger library. Website analytics choices do not change the desktop product's storage behavior.
